Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robotic vacuum-mop is a great option for those living in apartments since it uses a smaller docking system and has its own garbage bin. The application lets you set up different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping feature is also very impressive.

Its mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance are impressive, and it is able to mops extremely well cleaning up pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and replenishes its water tank.

robot vacuum cleaner reviews  from iRobot

The iRobot Combo is a robot that can mop and vacuum. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with an app that's mobile and simpler to use however it's a great alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all kinds and sizes from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems like LiDAR and structured light, but it still is able to avoid most collisions.

The Combo includes many of the same features that the j7 Plus does, including the onboard acoustic sensor that can determine the type of floor and AI-powered Navigation. However, it doesn't have the ability to control suction power using a hand. It's also a little smaller than its vac-only counterpart, and doesn't come with an auto-empty dock.

The Combo is one of my top choices for most homes. Its elegant design is also among the most attractive I've seen. The matte black finish is more elegant than the metallic or glossy finishes of many competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as the leather tab that opens the bin that is onboard, and a shelf to hold extra bags inside the dock. The iRobot Combo also makes it easy to create maps of your home, as well as to set up Keep-Out Zones as well as No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.

Roborock

While Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market however, it has already made its name due to its suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, while its mopping systems use vibrating mops to keep floors clean. Additionally, a variety of mapping and scheduling options lets you adjust the bot's cleaning schedule for your specific home.

Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature enables the robot to detect objects that are smaller than its own height. This is particularly useful for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best in its class in terms of navigation, thanks to both vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to run over pet waste and slam furniture without noticing. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this issue by utilizing the Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that uses dual cameras to perceive the objects within the room.

Roborock robots come with a range of features that make it easier to manage maintenance. They include docks that are auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with multiple functions. These features eliminate the need to empty dustbins or wash mops manually, allowing for a truly hands free ownership experience. The app is easy to use due to its straightforward design and the lag-free connection with the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

With a range of cleaning options and advanced mopping features, the Hobot Legee is among the best robot vacuums/mops for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system combines five different technologies to plan and create a route that is most efficient. The smart spray system makes use of the appropriate amount of water to get rid of staining without leaving ugly water marks.

The Legee is an Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which are priced higher. It comes with more features and features, including a flexible D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets better than a round model. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass, and Encoder) four forward-facing sensors, one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two cliff detectors in the front and back (most robots have only one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM to reduce the bump-and-grind issues that plague Gen 4 robots.

The Legee is different from other robots due to the fact that it has a trash compactor built-in and uses the quieter 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The included LuLu mop cleaning station cleans, refills and dries the mop 'cloth'. It can be used for up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency at which bins are emptied.

Karcher RCV 5

The brand is known for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for a while and this is their most tech-savvy model. It creates maps for your home with LiDAR, and can be programmed either to mop or vacuum. It also differentiates between hard floors and carpets and prevent the dreaded puddles on your carpet.

Its navigation is top-quality it can navigate around furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lowering itself up steps. Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a machine that balances advanced technology with affordable. It's a rival to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's most popular Q Revo. Despite its lower price tag it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that more expensive models can't beat. It uses sensors to adjust the settings to different flooring and surfaces as well as detect dirtier areas. It also moves at a an accelerated pace to avoid the destruction of furniture and walls.

It is designed with a clever layout which increases the cleaning of corners by as much as 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, which can be controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko RCV3 is a stylish and feature-packed hybrid robot mop/vac that does a bang up job of keeping floors spick and span. It isn't able to lift its mops to clean carpets and rug, as does the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it's very effective in cleaning hard floors. It also has an auto-emptying bin, provides an excellent suction power, offers many mopping options and can be operated by a high-end app that is compatible with both iOS and Android.

It's a bit smaller than the competition and its main brush is smaller however, it did to do a good job in our test room. The edge brush that revolves on the side is a great feature. Although  robot cleaner  wasn't able to remove dirt as effectively as other competitors, it did a great job.

The robot can be programmed with specific cleaning parameters for each room. It then creates detailed maps using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The app is simple to use and offers an array of options for voice output that can keep you updated on the condition of your robot. Regular updates to the software can improve and increase the performance. The app can be used to remotely manage the RCV3 even when you're not at home.
